About Corrine Van Vliet
Corrine has a Master of Clinical Social Work degree from Loyola University Chicago with a minor in Addiction Counseling. Corrine has worked with people in early recovery, guiding them through shame, self-acceptance, creating routines of self-care, and breaking old patterns that lead to old behaviors. Corrine's empathy and compassion offer a welcoming and nonjudgmental environment and safe space in which to open up and share your journey and subsequent emotional experiences.
Corrine has also worked as a TV writer, navigating the entertainment industry. Corrine works with people who are building and working to sustain a creative career that involves uncertainty, the ability to budget for indefinite times of hiatus between seasons or jobs, and the management of anxiety.
Corrine plays volleyball and used to coach, so she also understands the plight of an athlete. Corrine counsels young people through the balance of school and athletics, and the struggles of being a teenager.
